THE ATHLETIC APPROACH TO VOICE TRAINING
Train your voice.
Get Stage Ready.
VOXLETICS is a performance-based vocal fitness program that combines healthy vocal training with purposeful movement, strength, coordination, and cardiovascular exercise.
By training the voice and body together, singers can develop stronger breath management, improved posture, greater physical endurance, better coordination, and increased confidence while performing. VOXLETICS helps participants learn how to maintain vocal control while moving, dancing, and managing the physical demands of live performance.
Designed for singers of varying experience levels, VOXLETICS encourages healthy technique, full-body awareness, and the stamina needed to sing and perform with greater freedom, energy, and consistency.
Everything you need to know before class
-
Yes. VOXLETICS is designed with healthy vocal technique, proper movement form, and age-appropriate training in mind. Exercises can be modified based on a student’s age, experience, fitness level, and physical needs. Students are never encouraged to push through vocal strain, pain, dizziness, or physical discomfort.
-
Students learn how to use their voice while moving with greater control, confidence, and consistency. Training may include breath management, posture, vocal coordination, strength, rhythm, stage movement, endurance, and performance skills. The goal is to help students feel more prepared for auditions, rehearsals, dance calls, and live performances.
-
Students do not need to be athletes, but they should have some previous singing experience through voice lessons, choir, musical theatre, or performance. Exercises are adjusted for different fitness levels so that each student can participate safely and successfully.
-
Traditional voice lessons often focus on vocal technique while the student is standing or sitting still. VOXLETICS teaches students how to maintain that technique while moving, dancing, and managing the physical demands of performance. It is not simply singing during a workout; each activity is intentionally connected to a vocal or performance skill.
-
Students can expect a supportive, energetic environment that may include a physical and vocal warm-up, vocal exercises, resistance bands or body-weight movements, rhythm and coordination activities, simple choreography, and singing. Students should wear comfortable clothing, bring water, and be ready to move. Rest breaks and modifications are always available.
-
Depending on the lesson or class, VOXLETICS may use light dumbbells, step platforms, resistance bands, exercise mats, and plyometric boxes. Bodyweight exercises and simple stage movement patterns may also be included.
Each piece of equipment is selected to support a specific vocal or performance goal, such as improving posture, coordination, breath management, balance, strength, or stamina while singing. Students are taught how to use the equipment safely before adding vocal exercises, and the amount of weight, step height, and movement intensity are adjusted for each student’s age, experience, and physical ability.
Students are never expected to lift heavy weights or complete advanced athletic exercises. Modifications and equipment-free alternatives are always available.
