Soundcheck Café: A Pre-Fringe Pop-Up for Vocal Performers

  • NU Movement 716 University Avenue Rochester, NY, 14607 United States (map)

Monday, September 8 | 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Calling all Rochester Fringe Festival singers, vocal groups, standup comics and music-makers—before the lights go up, come warm up.

Soundcheck Café is a 2-hour vocal hangout hosted by Kristen Maxfield of Maxfield Music, and is designed just for Fringe performers. Step into a welcoming, coffeehouse-style space where you can:

  • Test your material in front of fellow artists

  • Shake off the nerves and loosen up your voice

  • Get feedback (if you want it) in a low-pressure setting

  • Connect with other local vocalists before the festival kicks off

We’ll have cozy vibes and a room full of people who get what it feels like to put your voice out there.

Come early, stay late, sing a little—or a lot.

No pressure. Just community, creativity, and great vibes before showtime.

FREE to join · All voices welcome · Donations Welcome to Support the Space & Vibe
